I love wisdom. A lot.
That makes me a Philosopher.
(If you’re into this whole optimal living thing, that makes you one, too. :)
My purpose is simple. I love helping people optimize their lives as I study, embody and teach the fundamentals of optimal living—integrating ancient wisdom + modern science + common sense + virtue + mastery + fun.
I’ve spent half of the last 18 years in Philosopher-mode and half in CEO-mode.
As a Founder/CEO, I built and sold two market-leading social platforms (eteamz + Zaadz) and more recently created en*theos.
As a Philosopher, I created PhilosophersNotes where I’ve distilled 200+ optimal living books into fun, inspiring and practical mini-summaries (6-page PDFs + 20-min MP3s), taught a class called Optimal Living 101, wrote a little book called A Philosopher’s Notes and was featured in the documentary Finding Joe.
I also love long hikes chatting with my wife, Alexandra, and going on adventures + playing blocks with our son, Emerson.
